i know i'm supposed to be :( but aft reading chinyee's blog, i feel like supporting her.
yeap, guides is an awesome cca, it trains your perservarance, leadership, self-discipline, team spirit, sense of urgency, which are very useful skills in life.
sure, we have tortorous pts every now and then. but don't you feel good about yourself if you completed it without dropping out?
it makes you feel as if you accomplished something great, which you have.
and you have your awesome sister guides. who are very nice people.

when people see the discipline and standardization we have, they will be like "wah they so seh."
doesn't it make you feel good?
you achieved something not everyone can achieve.
and you most probably will pass your napfa with flying colours.
sure, guides IS tortorous, i agree, but it's all for your benefit.
people will think "wah so cool" when you can do a standard pumping, and show off your first aid and tying skills.
and your self-discipline.

and i remember last year, i hated guides.
i dreaded every jihe, and i can't wait to skip all of them.
and i'll be thinking "why the hell are the seniors so strict? lax abit will die meh."
but this year, i think gg changed me.
when we dont do pt, i will be like "how come we're not doing pt? i feel so weirded out."
and then suddenly i love guides to the max.
i even want to schedule patrol pt :0

sure, the year ones want to appeal to other ccas? fine then.
go ahead, and dont regret next time.
yeah guides seem lame at first, i admit (sorry seniors!), like (seemingly) teaching us do not useful stuff.
but they ARE useful.
its the spirit and the bond that makes guides so awesome.
of course and the discipline.

its fun to do pt, oj tgt. cause you know everyone's suffering with you.
and your body slowly adjusts, making you fit.

Artistic, talented, but modest, this girl doesn't think she's that great. Has everyone wrapped around her finger, by only being charming. Will attract haters, but only because of the attention she demands.
